For too long the description of homeopathy in Wikipedia has been biased, out of date, and does not give the general public a good idea of what it is all about. This is unfortunate as this is often the first resource people will use when looking up a subject and I cringe every time I think about someone reading Wikipedia’s description of Homeopathy. Furthermore, editing is closed which defeats the whole spirit behind Wikipedia.
It is well known that all of the alternative therapies have a bad rap on Wikipedia while its information on conventional procedures and drugs is very well represented. I can’t tell you why that is but there is a homeopath, Dr. Arora who is trying to change that. Please consider signing his petition here.
Perhaps together we can change it! Thank you 🙂

I am on the board of the HNA (Homeopathic Nurses Association)and the editor of our quarterly newsletter. Our president has asked me to post something about us joining the petition against the slander of Homeopathy that the WIkipedia has posted, in our up-coming issue of our newsletter. Before putting your link in the article we are posting I just wanted to make sure that the petition you have posted on this website is ACTIVE still? Also if you could provide us with any more information about how this petition is going and if there is any progress we would appreciate it. Thanks for your message. This is definitely an issue that needs more attention. Unfortunately, the petition is closed (https://www.change.org/p/wikipedia-call-to-action-to-update-homeopathy-at-wikipedia) but another could always be started. I recommend you check out Dr. Arora’s research website: http://researchinhomeopathy.org/. Also, I know Dana Ullman tried unsuccessfully to update wikipedia and wrote an article about it: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dana-ullman/dysfunction-at-wikipedia-_b_5924226.html.
