Zettl Homeopathy was started in 2010 to provide the highest standard in homeopathic care to people seeking a safe, effective, and non-invasive approach to health management.
Zettl Homeopathy’s Practice Philosophy
Health is the ability to flexibly respond and adapt to the environment around us. It is a dynamic state. Sometimes stress whether physical, environmental, emotional, nutritional, or genetic, is sufficiently intense that symptoms arise in response to it and do not resolve on their own.
Classical homeopathic treatment can provide the body with the right stimulus to get back on track and start the recovery processes. Safe, natural, and non-toxic remedies are individually prescribed to strengthen and support the body’s defense mechanism and self-regulatory abilities. Dosage is tailored to each person, so improvement can be without the side effects and possibility of drug interactions common in other treatment options.
Health is not in a bottle. It is in how we live. A pragmatic approach to diet, exercise, and rest is included in the package of care. Less is more when it comes to maintaining good health and small, measurable, daily changes are the way to lasting change.
Zettl Homeopathy has a special interest in helping people sleep better, naturally, and with minimal supplementation. One of the first priorities in treatment, whatever the condition, is improving quality of sleep and energy levels, as this is vital to optimum functioning and the processes involved in restoring health and well being.

In 2008, Christy received a Bachelor of Sciences (Honours): Health Sciences in Homeopathy from the University of Westminster in London, UK. She is one of a few degree trained homeopaths in Western Canada.
Before moving back to British Columbia in 2010 and starting Zettl Homeopathy, Christy also did post-graduate studies at International Academy for Classical Homeopathy, founded by Alternative Nobel Prize winner (1996) and internationally renowned classical homeopath, George Vithoulkas.
Christy has also completed the Self Regulation Therapy Practitioner training (Foundation and Advanced Level) and Psychological Anatomy with the Canadian Foundation for Trauma Research & Education, Inc. (Registered Canadian Charity). These trainings help her understand trauma neurobiologically and is a complement to the consultation process in classical homeopathy.
Christy finds health is most easily attained in a collaborative environment and she likes to work with people who are looking for a natural and non-toxic alternatives.
She was introduced to homeopathy in her late teens when it cured her lifelong eczema after a couple doses (and has stayed away for twelve years and counting). She is excited to show clients that following classical homeopathy protocol and administering minimal doses on an individual basis is capable of sustaining health for extended periods of time.
Volunteer work and professional memberships
From 2012 – 2015, Christy was the Membership Secretary of the BC Society of Homeopaths (BCSH), a non-profit organization devoted to promoting excellence of homeopathic practice in British Columbia. The BCSH maintains a register of homeopathic practitioners in British Columbia who meet educational requirements, abide to the BCSH Code of Ethics, and undergo continuing education to maintain their membership. During Christy’s time on the board, they wrote and passed with members a Standards of Practice for Homeopaths in British Columbia, set up a member professional and general liability insurance plan, and introduced paperless new member applications and member annual renewals. She was also happy to interview and welcome over twenty new members into the organization.
Since 2008, Christy has been a registered member with Society of Homeopaths in the United Kingdom. The Society of Homeopaths is the largest organization registering homeopaths in the UK and in September 2014, the Society’s register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Christy is also a registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths.
